Both the initial ruling, and the statements by SCOTUS are EXPLICITLY clear.
"Executive Privilege" resides with the INCUMBENT President. Which means a sitting President can still invoke it to maintain privacy of decisions made while in office. And that is how it SHOULD BE. Tr*mp's PERVERTED belief that he, or ANY President, enjoys ABSOLUTE IMMUNITY IN PERPETUITY is utter BULL-S4.
Does this mean the GQP won't throw open Biden's records when the pendulum swings their way? Of course not. So What?!
Sounds like just the thing to keep aspiring despots in line, knowing that ultimately their actions WILL BE known.
