I am getting a thing called Scintillating scotoma of the fortification spectrum kind
to save you a wiki trip it's a visual disturbance, usually preceding a migraine. It marches through your field of vision, blocking parts of what you see, kind of like physiological blind spot. You can still see things but you have a slowly moving blind spot that appears in your normal field of vision.
In my case it does nor hurt, but usually is a signal that I am or in this case was tired, hungry, run down, sleep deprived, maybe stressing, which is no fun.
I am feeling good actually except that I can't see part of what I normally see, which is annoying and unsettling.
a funny thing is if I cross my eyes to cause a double image, the visual disturbance does not double, it remains single |
