There is no sign of WarDog, and the tunnel has been quiet for some time. Sounds like maybe the battle went in another direction, or everybody died, or something. judging from the body of the spider at the corner, you figure there HAD to be a magical element somewhere in it. Other than that, things appear to have quieted down. And you're a little irritated. You haven't spent enough time with "WarDog" Strauss to set up your usual business contact - some time in the future you're going to have to somehow win his trust again (not sure if friend-of-a-friend will work again - he's uncommonly selective). Annoyed. Someone down this hallway screwed the pooch for this meet - maybe they should pay for that. (Think: "Grrr!")
