"And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow, with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go, turn to, put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain, and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again!
Rise Again, rise again! Though your heart it be broken and life about to end, No matter what you've lost, be it a home, a love, a friend, Like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again!" (Stan Rogers, as Canadian as they come!})
Words to live by.
So....
Who am I? agwyvern of course!
What *is* an agwyvern? Aye lads, and there be a tale worth the tellin' .....
It were many years ago when me mates an' me did venture forth into realms unknown. Realms of danger and adventure, of demons in dungeons and princesses in peril! We was riding into town late one night and had to find a place to drink up and bed down. And there it was right ahead of us, springing into view like we were *meant* to spend the night there... The Red Dragon Inn. A rough place, a dangerous place, a place where the desperate go to seek the even more desperate for help. And so it happened that this chance encounter with the Hamil franchise of Red Dragon Inns led us to adventure after adventure, treasures found and treasures lost, battles engaged, thrones won, extra arms grown, corpses animated as trap testers; in fact, all the normal activities any well-heeled fighter would engage in. And yet, through all these adventures, through years of turmoil, never once was I treated fairly at the Red Dragon Inn.
When finally I disposed of that cursed franchise (courtesy of a cloak of invisibility, a team of stolen horses, some blocks and tackle, surreptitious destruction of building supports, and a teleportation spell) I swore that I would one day open my own Inn, an Inn for those like me, an inn which would be all that the thrice-damned Red Dragon never could be! And when the time finally came, I raised my head from my flagon of everflowing wine, looked to the heavens and beheld that most glorious, most noble, most stunning creature ever to grace the star-bedecked sky... the Silver Wyvern. And thus, my friend, I bid thee welcome to the Silver Wyvern Inn!
Hey! That wasn't worth the tellin'!!! Fine. Be a critic. I needed to type something :-)
But why the 'ag'???? You can thank Rogers Cable for that... silly twits wouldn't let me create an address with more than 8 characters.
Okaaaaaay. But why the 'ag'????? Come now! You're a UFie geek! Don't you know your periodic table? (element 47)
