The team makes good, QUIET time down the tunnel, towards an open hatchway (vaultway?) - only you seem to notice that the door that would otherwise enclose that space is somehow flattened across the hallway, as if it had been blasted there by some deep internal pressure. It is pancaked so well against the wall that it looks as if it actually belongs there - but you seem to note that none of the other hatches "stick out" like that one does. Odds are there is another hatch plastered underneath that one - your cursory glances show it to be correct: these vault-door hatches tend to be mounted directly across from each other. Everyone is stacked up on the right side of the door, waiting for something. Or some ONE.
