    In your (internal) interface your visual/thermal camouflage systems are throwing red lights: there is simply too much to cover to maintain a very good semblance of invisibility.  It hasn't shut down, exactly, but gauging by the error feeds it probably isn't actually doing too much good.  Such is life under the current situation.

    Quite naturally (or un-naturally, as the case turns out) you close the distance to the target almost immediately.  Like "close-enough-to-smell-her-fetid-breath" --- if she had any --- close.  (Spiders don't breathe the same way humans do.  No time for details here.  Look it up if you're really curious.)  You are well within arm's reach, and you note that someone has done a fantastic job of using pipe brackets and clamps to fasten her down to the gurney rather well.  At the angles to which her legs are fastened, they can't reach out or up, so they flail away at the bottom of the gurney, to no effect.  And that's about all you can discern at this time...
