it has legal implications if they have paid accounts and such. Illiad had said something about working up an appropriately phrased version, but my guess is that it isn't on the top of his pile. But for now, the general rule is if you post a big production goodbye that says basically you're leaving because the board sucks/you people are idiots/etc your account will be permanently disabled. In other words, we will enforce your goodbye so be sure you really want to go before posting something like that. It should be noted that this does not include "I'm leaving on vacation" posts or other similar posts designed to convey the information that you will be temporarily unavailable.
