    Well, ok, let's talk about a run-on sentence... by Tars_Tarkas2002-05-19 14:27:27
I'd be more than happy to discuss that subject by bugarup2002-05-19 14:43:47
        I'd take my hat... by Tars_Tarkas 2002-05-19 15:06:04
...if I had one, in order to acknowledge your efforts, which, though very brave and valiant, are, as you might have already guessed, completely futile in that there is an old saying, and this saying goes way back, back beyond the UF comic strip, and quiet all those who believe there always was a UF comic strip, for I speak of an older, more primitve world, in which there was no UF, but already there was this old saying it is my wish to relate to you and, indeed, to anybody of my esteemed readers, who have shown both courage and great valour, yet, and I do not mean to offend, do seem a bit foolhardy as well, seeing how you continue to read this sentence, which is not going to end anytime soon, not without having posed the following question, "Who is the greater fool, the fool or the fool that follows him", which, of course, is a star wars quote, which is a great source of quotes, which include such things as, for example, "May the force be with you!" of "The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the force!", but not including this *really* old saying, which I will not hold back from you much longer, knowing full well that nobody is reading this far anyway, so here it is, it's not wise or pretty, but it's true, "There's *always* a longer run-on sentence!", much like this one here, though it nearly fell short of it's goal, trying to prove this old saying, because your humble author nearly skipped the preview, so confident, nay, over-confident, was he in his 1337 language skillz, that he thought this sentence longer than it really was, but now that a few more words have been spoken, or written, as my esteemed colleauge pointed out so precisley in his post above, this sentence is quite possibly the longest in this thread yet, and quite possibly even longer than the biggest ball of twine in Minnesota, which, by the way, funny to write out by the way again, after always abrieviating it to btw in the past, but I digress, which was the point of course, and want to conclude, no, really, this is quite a long winded sentence already and we can only hope the nice host and owner of this diary will forgive us for abusing his kind hospitality with this inane drivel and insanity, is a really funny song by Weir Al Yankovich.
