I feel like I'm wide awake, raring to go, and full of pep...
Despite the fact that I got no sleep LAST night either (I took a cat nap earlier in the day, but that was, like, fifteen-twenty minutes at best) I haven't had enough sleep to have recharged my batteries, much less OVER charged them to be feeling THIS awake...
This stinks.
I have a doc appointment in 6 hours.
I need to be asleep.
I do NOT want to go, sit in his freakin "Depression Class" and *fall asleep*. His lectures are boring-enough as it IS without me dropping face-first to my desk and actively *SNORING*.

Although it WOULD serve him right for scheduling me at a $Diety-awful time of the Butt-Crack-O-Dawn instead of a more humane hour, like, say, 1600Hrs.

Oh well, at least, if I *do* fall asleep in his class, it won't matter much. I highly doubt it'll be any different than all the others he makes me go to, which I know nearly verbatim (If he gives the "Depression hurts, but check your blood sugars anyway." speach again, I may have to stab at him with my insulin syringe pack a few times), and he hasn' altered in the nearly three years I've been attending. To add insult to injury, they're nothing but "common sense" topics (like making sure to test regularly, eat healthy, get lots of excersize, get plenty of rest [!HA!], etc) that I hear from everyone, their mother, MY mother, the cats,. the neighbor's new dog, et al...
Unless he changes the syllibus on me, I could probably sleep through most of it, wake, listen to him for ten seconds, and harmonize with him along his speach, much to the amazement of the rest of the class, and to his infinite annoyance.

Maybe I'll bring a pad of scratch paper & some pencils. Doodle & draw things to keep my brain from congealing with the impossible boredom...
Or my MP3 player & a book...
I was SERIOUSLY considering wearing my "You're just jealous cuz The Voices talk loudest to ME!" t-shirt, but then that would be VERY rude, would it not?
I have already had two hot baths, drank enough (non caffinated) tea to tranq an army, had a large glass of warm milk (YUCK!), and even tried just laying down and letting my mind go "BRBL BRBL BRBL" (think finger-across-the-lips noise), but all I ended up doing was staring at the blood cells playing on the inside of my eyelids for an hour...
*SIGH*
And I've already used my daily turns playing the two LOGD servers I'm on (Program Geeks, and DragonRazor), so I can't go back for another 4hours and 1hour, respectively...
(If I'm still awake to play on ProgramGeeks again, I'll rip out all my hair and run in tiny circles screaming my lungs out in frustration....)

I need a D&D style RPG I can play single-player, off-line, at will.
Not Diablo or D2+LOD, cause I've already played those today.

Not Temple of Elemental Evil - it won't play on my system for some stinking reason, even though my system specs make their "suggested" ones look like a freakin *abacus*...
1.7GHz Pentium? Try AMD64 3500+ on a 2GHz FSB & 1Meg L1/L2.
256Megs RAM? Try 2Gb PC3200 DDR.
1.1Gb of HD space? I've got nearly half a Tb of free space left.
10x CDRom? Will the LightScribe DVD+-RW Dual Layer burner do, or shall I use the 16x DVD-ROM drive instead?
64Mb Video card? Will my ATI Radeon X600 256Mb DDR PCIe card do?
"Windows compatible sound"? Does that include the SB Audigy?
DirectX 9.0? Ok, I'm running 9.0c, but that's the latest Non-Vista version out there...
I could run one instance of TToEE *per monitor* and my system STILL wouldn't have a cow, yet the GAME seems to think my system isn't compatible. *&^% that. I only kept the game because I got it as a gift.
So I need an RPG that is NOT a MMORPG or Pay-As-You-Play kind of thing. I'll either pay to bring it home, OR pay to play it online, *but not both*. And typically, not pay to play, either. My friends have proved to me that EverCrack is a VERY true moniker for EQ. He nearly lost his job from playing that sucker, and then had to trade-down his brand new truck because he wasn't going to be able to make the full payments for a while (the truck payments went towards playing EQ!), so EQ, WoW, et al, are probably safe to say "No Thanks" to... (Besides, I'm poor. I couldn't afford to pay for an MMORPG account AND do things like, *laundry*. *sigh*)
Anyway, I'm bored.
If I had a GF, I could go over to her house, snuggle up on her couch, and relax in the scent of the pillows that smelled like her...
But I don't, so I can't.
