It needs to work for Tuesday. I can confirm that the ethernet-to-wireless bridge is flaky. It only seems to work 'reliably' when connected to a 'doze system. It doesn't seem to want to forward packets from any other OS. (Hey, when i can take a dual-boot machine and connect under 98se, but not under RedHat Linux, it isn't a hardware issue) I got it working briefly this afternoon... but only using a cross-over cable... and only the 6-foot-long one. An hour later the same configuration is back to non-working. This is what happens when someone else spec's the hardware. All i can think is that this paycheque better not bounce... (like the last one did)
