You can't help but notice a flicker on the astral plane in each of these people, human and metahuman alike, that *suggests* something bug-like. That would go a long way towards explaining the mass domination of people from different walks of life, assembling here. Maybe. But the effects of the spell have vaporized, vanished. Traceable back to the gallery no doubt, but nothing descriptive as to what was actually being used.
