8-panel colour Sunday strip
Setting: Binkley's bedroom
Panel 1 (title panel): Binkley laying in bed, covers pulled up to his chin, Goldy Tinkles on his lap.
Binkley: "Ssh! Goldy! it's the Purple Snorklewacker in my closet!"
Sound effect: "CRASH!"
Off panel: "AAIGH!"
Panel 2: Purple Snorklewacker (huge, purple creature with blue spots, looks like a giant eggplant with a T-Rex's tail, arms, and legs, and a humungous rhino horn (half his body size), with a crop of green hair sprouting from the top of his head) standing in open closet doorway, pointing backwards into the darkness of the closet.
Snorklewacker (shouting): "THERE'S AN AWFUL MAN IN THERE! BIG HEAD... PINK TIE..."
Panel 3: Binkley and Goldy jerking to attention on the bed, Snorklewacker leaning into picture (he's huge, by the way).
Binkley (shouting): "TRUMP!"
Goldy (shouting): "DONALD!"
Snorklewacker: "OO! Awful!"
Panel 4: Binkley and Goldey leaning over footboard of bed toward Snorklewacker, who is covering his eyes with his teeny arms.
Snorklewacker: "He said I was very bad and that I should be deported back where I came from!"
Panel 5:
Binkley: "Where's that?"
Snorklewacker: "Under your bed."
Panel 6:
Binkley: "Listen! You're not the bad nightmare! He is!!"
Snorklewacker: "But also oddly appealing!"
Panel 7:
Snorklewacker (looking pleased): "And very, very honest. Quite refreshing, really. No baloney."
Goldy: "Love that! Ask him in for cocktails and snacks!"
Binkley (looks at Goldy with perplexed expression)
Panel 8: Goldy marches toward head of bed, Binkley pointing sternly at him, Snorklewacker trotting back into closet.
Goldy: "I'll get the milk n' kibble!"
Binkley (loudly): "NO!!"
Snorklewacker: (to the sound of 'poink! poink! footsteps) Ya know, I AM a little bad. I eat children!"
