...I have to say that I don't see a personal attack there, either. The only thing that could be considered close might be the "hypocrite" comment, but I see that as simply pointing out a perceived inconsistency.
Since I didn't read though the whole discussion, nor do I intend to, I won't even make any judgment on whether the alleged hypocrisy exists or not...simply looking for the personal attack, and didn't find one in that response. Certainly nothing worthy of telling someone to go do things to themselves that require censoring, when considered by itself.
Perhaps SS was reacting to the quite natural stress of being out of work and, as a consequence, read some of his/her own frustration into it? (Sorry, I don't follow enough to know who is what gender unless it's in their diary.) Even just being in the middle of a "hot" discussion can produce an emotional state where someone can take something the wrong way...I've done it many times myself. |
