Lady S, you're right on time! by LongFist 2017-05-30 18:58:43
Pregnant lady in the center, obviously in labor.  You perform a quick glance in the Astral, and...

...and you see what appears to be a room awash in blood, with parts of bodies strewn everywhere.  In the center of the room you see something of a bloated, round body, legs overhanging the edges of the gurney, all locked down with what appears to be metal brackets.  On each side you see what might be seven acolytes of some sort, all wearing a tentacled (legged?) mask, looking more like a Cthulu-fest than a band of spiders - but you can see where the resemblance might be had.  The bass THOOOMMM-THoooom-thoooom causes ripples of energy to course throughout the bay, from way back in the back where another HUGE spider lurks, all the way to the doorway through which you lurk/watch/glance.

Unfortunately, as you duck back into concealment, you wonder if your brief Astral Gaz hasn't alerted one or more of the bay's inhabitants, they also seeming to be magically active.
