Effortlessly you silently glide past the edgr of the wall (assuming you went around, not over) allowing you to approach the doorway from the side (which is why 'over' would not have been the most tactically sound approach) so you can "cut the pie" as you assay the hallway. Down at the next intersection of hallways, right where the bleeding balled-up spider thing lies, you hear something (or someONE) shuffling around expertly-quietly. (Cyber trumps talent, just this once.) A scent glides sweetly through the air, and your animal-level senses seem to remember this one.
