The hallway seems absolutely deserted, and as you peek around the corner to the left you see a quickly-laid sandbag assault wall, the kind the Tacticals use when they're handling hostage-standoff situations and they can't hide in their cars. The bug-thing doesn't move at all, and it would appear that it's done bleeding. The rest of the hallways appear deserted as well, and you note the blood, gore and ichor track runs past your hallway entrance down to your right and disappears further down as it turns left at the next cross-intersection. Yuck!
