      Block's Actions by rebill 2017-03-10 19:15:37
When the scanner ping beeps stop, two thoughts go through Block's mind.

The first, he emits as a whisper on the team channel, "Three, two." When Ace glances back at Block, "If we", and then the dwarf moves his thumb back and forth between pointing at his own face, an at where he thinks Mister X's head is, "need to turn those back on while you're not here, how do we do that?"

The second thought has to do with the silence. Block looks at his recording equipment to see if he has a few dozen seconds of that "ping beep" sound in a buffer that can be saved. If so, he's going to do so, and queue the sound up for on-demand playback. If nothing else, any bugs that have encountered those SMGs (and lived) might just hesitate if they heard that sound somewhere else.

When X's command to start down the gore soaked hallway comes through, Block starts moving down the hallway behind the troll. His Fichetti Security is out, but pointed down and away from both team members.

In priority order (most to least), Block's mental focus is looking for:

1) Any metahuman wounded that might need his help
2) Any metahuman dead that might just be wounded
3) Any useful military or police grade hardware that could be looted ... basically anything that the building AI would not consider as belonging to the building

4) Anything bug-like that Mister X starts shooting at will cause Block to start shooting, also.

5) Anything meta-human that Mister X starts shooting at will get a stunbolt or stunball, instead.

Those are his mental state for picking his reaction to sudden changes. If none of that happens, he will:

6) Advance down the hall with Mister X.
7) Try to take advantage of the silence to listen for noise
8) Switch perception back and forth between normal, thermal and astral.

Perception (auditory), 3+1 dice: 3,1,3,3
Perception (visual), 3+3 dice: 5,1,6,1,5,3
Assensing: 3 dice: 1,3,4

If needed, Stunbolt (force 5, 9 dice): 6,5,4,1,4,6,5,6,1
(drain 5/2-1 = 1, 9 dice): 1,1,5,3,4,2,5,4,4

Or, if neede, Stunball (force 5, 9 dice): 5,3,2,5,5,6,2,4,2
(drain 5/2+1 = 1, 9 dice): 3,5,6,6,4,3,1,2,3
