Wm. Mark Simmons. Basic plot synopsis a guy and his family are attacked (by vampires) the guy survives the attack but does not become a vampire, yet he developes an allergy to sunlight but none of the other hinderances.. yet.. a half-vampire so to speak.

The vampire community picks up on this and he is thrown into a world of vampires, werewolves,dwarves etc. Sounds like fantasy but this is based on modern day America. Sounds trite I know, but the author has an awesome wry sense of humor and it

permeates his work. So please give it a run. Mr.Simmons finally wrote his 3rd novel in the series and I am really looking forward to it.
