What's "dark blue in IE" or "green in Safari"? by shreevatsa2006-01-16 00:20:42
Check the source of those posts by dodrian 2006-01-16 06:41:06
In Kickstart's appeal for help there's usually a hidden color for that post in the source. The color is generally a euphamism of some sort (it's the long text without spaces that people post), which some browsers (IE mainly) attempt to interpret as a hex color. Occasionally "proper" browsers like Safari and Opera will see it as a color, but mainly (like Firefox) they just stick it as black.

Oh, and only people like Kickstart can do this (a script that queries the database directly or something), because ARS strips any attempt at chagning color.
