Nothing is ever wasted - you almost caused one of your team members to break into laughter, so it's all good. And you *know* the foyer HAS to be one of the most monitored places on earth, what with several big corporations (and not a few smaller corporations) having headquarters here. So somebody, SOMEwhere, has seen and probably appreciated your debonair entrance. They're just probably somewhere safe, watching it on A/R, V/R or something. Boring people with common sense can be like that, sometimes...
The foyer is totally devoid of anything that cops might have run from, which makes you think that either (a) it might be in their heads, or (b) it broke off the chase when they left the foyer. Looking closely, you see no other clues as to what might have made them exit in such a balls-of-fire rush (no pun intended) otherwise. |
