| Thunder roars as you finish getting your sight picture together and you squeeze off the shot. Somehow, something large-ish, built very much like a black widow spider (about eight feet across!) appears out of thin air, and your shot is - deflected? No, the shot seems to have gone all the way through the suddenly-appearing spider and passed through the capering shadowy thing, which is slammed into the wall hard enough to make it bounce back about a foot! Whatever it is, it has stopped monkeying around back there - and perhaps you have just earned its attention! Then something drops from the ceiling (in there) to your right, but since it doesn't block your shot you don't pay too much attention to it. |
