You can't forget transmission as well! I definitely cannot generate enough wattage with SolarC's here (and in a residential neighbourhood, a turbine isn't going to much or be pleasing to the 'hood.) I'm under the impression that in Ontario, we have enough excess power generating capacity, that they won't be offering a return on negative power consumption... It's just a pipe-dream/rant - you're not supposed to rationalize it ;)
