Welcome to the shadows.. by provinfistoris 2015-08-20 17:21:11
I lean back. "Nice to meet you two. I'm Mr. X. A contact informed me, I'd be meeting two guys, new to the shadows. First things first, the run I'm offering here, is an easy run. We're just going to gather a little information. Play it cool. We're not playing armed extraction.... At least... not tonight. Based on our findings, we may be doing more, but it entirely depends on what we find out, before we are given further instruction. The money on this run is low, given that it's a low risk operation. I'll offer you both 250 nuyen for the run. Bonuses may be awarded depending on the outcome. Additionally... depending on the run's outcome, I may be recruiting you to join me for additional runs. Provided of course... You want to come along."

"The run is simple, A lower district manager at the FunFix disappeared. My client, would like me to find out where she went."

I send the basic information over the commlink to the guys in front of me.

"Right now this is strictly a detective gig. We need to do this quietly and unobtrusively. My client is a high profile group of individuals, and would prefer to keep this under wraps unless the soykaf hits the fan. Got it?"

I shift positions... "Now... Tell me a bit about yourselves, my contact sent you guys my way, so odds are good you have what it takes, but I want to hear from you guys directly. What are you good at? What do you have to offer me? I know a little bit about you guys, but, information right from the source is always more accurate."
