time war. When you photocopy something, each copy gets lesser and lesser quality until it becomes unreadable, and thats something that does not have a tendancy to mutate like DNA....
Remember the reaction of the Dalek that Rose touched, and mixed her DNA with? It was horrified when it found it was no longer pure. It self destructed.
So... these Daleks were seeking to restore pure Daleks, thinking it will give them the Edge to win the time war finally (losing is not an option, and they lose so long as the Dr lives), knowing they would be destroyed for their impurity does not phase them because they know they are corrupt. |
