Never EVER spill beer into a laptop keyboard. It may smell all beery and wonderful (for a while) but when those keys shorts ... good luck. (Whaddayamean key 12 down?) Thankfully replacement keyboards for this model were reasonably priced... I had visions of hundreds of itty bitty parts flying in all directions as the last screw comes out. Took the precaution of using some contact cleaner in the FPCB sockets before installing the new keyboard. Thankfully SOMETHING went right.
