Ace, would you be so kind as to find out the system status for this elevator? When I talked to our boys outside they were quite clear that "something structural" gave way. I'd really rather not step into a elevator that was going to drop us straight into the sewer systems.
Block turns to look at Mr. X ... only to see that he has teleported away, once again. He mutters under his breath, "Man, I have *got* to get him to teach me how to do that," then clicks the team comms to ask, "anyone see the stairwell?"
"Oh, one other thing," he adds, "they boys outside also said, 'down there'. I think we ought'a head to the basement levels."
With that, he steps into the elevator to see just how many basement levels there are in this building. |
