      X's Actions by provinfistoris 2017-05-29 17:59:32
X takes a moment to patch Lady S into the team frequency, and then broadcasts a silent message.

"Hold. Take up covering positions, I'm heading in a bit deeper for a closer look. Don't blow our cover. Wait for further instructions."

X pauses for a second, and then adds "If one of you can silently reach my side, and stack here, it'll provide two lanes of fire, better cover in case things get loud unexpectedly."

X flips into his low-light, Thermal, and echolocation sensors. Can he get any increased definition of the area before penetrating deeper?

X runs through a quick gear check. He checks his rifle and sling, gotta be sure it's hanging well, pulls his 'pistol' out and changes the magazine from standard rounds to his explosive rounds mag. Makes sure the sword on his back is snug. The bandolier of knives, and then lastly, his pack of grenades. He changes the grenade loaded in his underbarrel grenade launcher to Hi-Ex away from the hot smoke which he usually has loaded.

After finishing his checks, X rolls around the corner, and moves as quietly as possible towards the bonfire, looking for cover along the way, and trying to pick out any figures nearby.
