Laundry: Where do all the socks go? by rebill 2012-01-09 13:10:00
Over the weekend, a friend of mine was discussing his new washing machine with myself and another friend, when the first friend said that he has to be careful doing "half-loads" because his side-load washer walks.

My mind jumped to the physics of radioactivity, and I had a revelation - socks disappear as the radioactive decay of laundry! Each load of laundry has a half-life, and at random intervals, a sock particle is emitted!

It explains so much!
