That's just one minute of searching for information. What you're needing is just very tight voltage regulation and negative feedback looping for sensors.

ADI SimPower is a power monitoring system from Analog Devices. They also have a thing called the "Engineer Zone" where I can post a request for information for you if you do not wish to make an account of your own. I highly recommend that you DO make an account, though. GREAT people at Analog, and they LOVE to help amateurs and hobbyists and TEACHERS. I get samples of things (one unit of a chip like a DDS or battery monitor). FREE.
