In response to Mr. X's comment about the civilian, Block is about to respond when Lady S's warning appears on the comms. Block adds his own, "yeah, that's no civilian. That's a spider factory."
Block then grabs the stylized miniature caduceus that he always wears close to his skin, and uses that as the focus for his "emergency use only" spell:

Spellcasting pool 9 dice: 2,6,4,6,1,4,3,5,6
Drain (F/2+2 = 3), resist pool 9 dice: 5,1,5,3,2,3,5,3,2
If the spell goes off even remotely well, the next thing he does is key the mic and say "one, three, ready", which comes across sounding like a dwarven squirrel hyped on sugar and caffeine.
