In 1998, my parents bought an off-lease 1997 Plymouth Voyageur (higher-end feature package than the Dodge or Chrysler branded Caravans, not quite as decked-out as the Town&Country.)
This van served my family quite well for many years; in the summer of 2000, it was mine to drive to my full-time job about 35KM from home (it was either that or a 3.5h city bus ride each way)
In the fall of 2000, I bought my uncle's Prelude for a song and loved it dearly for 4 years, finally I could no longer afford the maintenance. I sold it to someone I could tell was passionate about 'em... not much money, but he was really very excited.
Anyway, since then, I've been driving the van again as my parents haven't had much call for it, sure there's the occasional "move this bookshelf", but it's been as good as mine for almost a year and a half now... |
