...sweet laptop. I got the Panasonic Toughbook (military edition) because:
(a) it looks nothing like any of the office's regular laptops (meaning: touch it - even by mistake - and you've brought down the wrath of the SysAdmin/NetAdmin/Software Developer!) No thefts tolerated - especially because "it looked just like mine..."
(b) it looks like a pistol case or something - really snazzy!
...but it's no great shakes, just a PIII-450 w/128 MB of RAM - but it serves me well for my portable network analysis workshop, and while I'd hate to, I *can* develop quick-and-dirty fixes on it, should the need arise...
...but it really pales in comparison to the iBook, I think...
