Block points the laser dot from his Fichetti at Ace's feet, and clicks it "on". He then says (quietly) into the comms, "three, two - see the red dot at your feet?" When Ace acknowledges, Block moves the dot over to where Mr. X wanted someone to sneak over to, and adds to the comms, "Can you shift over there? That's where the boss wants one of us."
Block holds the spot in place until Ace moves, and then goes back to watching for any action or actions of Mr. X.
Is there anything thermal near that bonfire ... other than the campfire, itself? Or is the bonfire not actually there? |
