fluorecent lights compressors/fan motors one of my biggest two complaints: my sony radio alarm clock and my Ikea Halogen light... I can't SLEEP with that noise. no there's nothing functionally wrong with them... I can just hear it and it drives me nuts. I sleep with my PC on now to cover up the noise (course - my SmartUPS 900 with it's 20LBs txformer adds itself to the mix)
