I suspect this to be true of any sufficiently technical field. Mrsandyz is a on construction project manager. The technical parameters/logistics she works with to get complex buildings constructed are similar to a large-task programming project. What you describe is exactly why I hope to never hear her work vocabulary directed at me. I can only imagine what she sounds like to get the mere attention of some of her superintendents or subcontractors.
