| I've got a gaming group, and a few months ago, some newcomer from a nearby Army post asked if he could join us (found us on a gaming website). He was really nice, but unfortunately a little too dependent on me giving him instructions how to get to our gaming places. Then often he wouldn't even turn up, and anyway, he didn't speak any German, and we didn't want to speak English *all* the time. So he stayed away after a few weeks. But the idea was good. I think if he had tried to learn German, it would have worked. |
