I check my commlink, read over the wildhunt rules, and then forward them over to my compatriots. "Alright guys, looks like we have a framework on how we'll do this. The area Reggie is hunting is pretty large. So it may be a bit hard to find our target. Of course, he can't be seen by police, so we may be able to attract a large number of cops into the area with a large distaction. Perhaps an explosion or something like that?"
Block looks speculative for a moment. "What if we set one of the nearby buildings on fire? That should bring a good bit of attention into the area."
I rub my chin for a second. "It's a good idea, but we'd need to do it a little before his window opened. that way to have enough time for response. The other problem is it may not draw enough police response into the right area... The condo's might only draw firefighters."
Ace frowns, and says "How about I hijack a car in the area, and sideswipe a patrol vehicle? Then lead them on a merry chase through the hunting ground. That ought to disrupt the hunt a good bit. You'll have all sorts of cops, helicopters and drones, looking out at this. It's pretty much gauranteed to invalidate Reggie's hunt. If you sat in the passenger seat throwing grenades out the window it'd rile up the neighborhood gangers too. We could cause as much as chaos as possible and then no one would be able to pin it on us."
I smile approvingly. "You know... I really like the way both of you think. That last idea is great. I really think it's our best chance to get things screwed up. Even better if you can steal a car that's like Reggies. Let's see if we can find out what he drives."
As I stand up to go to the bar, Block pipes up. "Hey, you know, you don't necessarily need to use grenades. A guy with a 5 gallon tank of gas, and a mage that can cast fireball could handle that."
I reply "You know, that's a good idea. Can you handle that? We could buy a good bit of gas on the way, spread it out the back of the vehicle for a ways, and set it on fire. It'd be really flashy and draw an amazing amount of attention. It would also be less expensive. Excellent suggestion!"
I head over to the bar. "Hey, I'd like to order a drink. Get me two Autumn Sunrises." As he comes over to fill my drink order I whisper. "I have a plan, can you tell me what he drives?"
