lntellectual discussions about Americans inGermany by Garrinka2005-12-21 04:57:55
So, Garrinka, what do *you* think? by sojawurst2005-12-21 07:51:49
Okay I love it here... by Garrinka 2005-12-21 10:56:16
There has been some adjustments in lifestyle I admit, but (maybe because I am part German) I love it here. We extended for a

reason. The German friends I've met here have been great. I did work on the economy for a while. My boss was a very nice

and helpful person. Her husband was great. I left because it because it was hard working in the house and not working in the

stable.. she had a working dressage farm. I have alot to say about Germany. We have traveled. I have been to Munich or

Muenchen for oktoberfest. I have been to Nurmburg for the Christams market. I have visted Cologne and Essen. Okay rambling

here. Anyways the Army has had numerous problems training here. My husband is a pilot. There are so many no fly zones and no

noise days that it is hard for him to train. I've heard him complain about coming home from Kosovo flying out that he had to delay

(now rememember this was after being away from home for 3 months he just wanted to get back.)

coming back home for various reasons. I cannot mention all because I don't know what I can say about it. Basically they've had

training problems. I've learned some Deutsche. I know how to drive on the autobahn unforturalty my car tops out at 115 miles

per hour, its hard to get out of the way sometimes. There are people who cannot deal with change; some do not leave the post

while others visit all of europe. I love the food.. german yogurt is the best :) Okay end of rambling here just wanted to at least

seem like I wanted to answer your question. I will answer more succinly at a different time. :)
