Of course, I shouldn't gripe: my new job (as an Assembler) is still working with computers: I assemble touch-screen PCs! Other than that, my skills are pretty much atrophying.
Still, my job is nothing neverr boring: in a few weeks I have risen to Quality Control inspector; I'm responsible for making sure we ship what the Customer ordered, and making sure that it is satisfactory for their purpose(s). Scary sometimes, and I'm the least popular person in my group - but I guess social sacrifices must be made in order to ship a quality product. And we do.
We do.
It took a while to get access to a PC here at work (I do double-duty as a CAD Engineer when I'm not busy driving the other Assemblers crazy) so I can come by and see what everyone is up to - I realize I'm not the most prolific poster here at UF, but you guys are still my family (like it or not), so I try to come by and lurk as often as time allows.
More later - hopefully not too much later! Smiles, Huggles, and Warm Fuzzles to all who stand in need! |
