Over the comms, Block says, "something set off their anti-mag defenses. I'll bet you a Benja-Yen that all of the nomag defenses are also active".
Block steps to the side of the door, instead of going in, just to see what, if anything tries to eat Ace.
If something *does* try to eat Ace, Block will try to guess how powerful it is ... and use that to gage whether to start firing at it, or whether to levitate Ace right back into safety. |
