to the Autobahn. It really is hell on there. In town, the drivers are more orderly than in other countries (as far as I know), although rather dogmatic at the same time. It depends on the town, as well. In Heidelberg the drivers are beautifully 'house-trained' because of all the cyclists, in Mannheim they tend to be more careless.
But, about Greece: I was on Kreta once, and since my husband had forgotten his driver's licence, I had to drive all the time. I've never been so relaxed while driving. But it may be different on a small island. Nevertheless, I have the impression that drivers in other countries are less aggressive.
