I ended up having this REALLY weird dream the other night.
My son & I were playing some tweaked card game where you had a board game (like something from Candy Land, Chutes & Ladders, or Life), cards (like Munchkin), dice (2d10's each), and a large foam-wrapped Clue Bat.
You'd roll the dice, move your little D&D mini, draw a card, follow the instructions, draw another card, then defend yourself from a clubbing.
Anyway, I recreated as much of it as I could remember here ("PPPLLLBBB!!!_(C)_2007-05-12_MWC.RAR").
You can play it one of two ways:
As a card game. Print out all 200 cards, cut them out, & separate them into two piles (Situation cards & Reaction cards).
Or as a Pencil & Paper game. Print out one copy of each sheet (Situation & Reaction) for each player. Find a pair of ten sided dice.
Either way, everyone needs a score card (binder paper marked with three columns: Good, Neutral, & Bad) & a pencil or pen.
If you're playing with cards, lay the "Birth" card face-up on the table. If with Dice, you're "starting" at "Situation 001".
Either draw a Situation Card, or roll the dice to get a random # between 01 & 00.
If the first card drawn, or the first roll comes up, as "Death", re-roll, since it's WAY too early to die. =)P
Read the situation listed on the card / under the Situation you rolled. Pick which Action you want to take (Good, Neutral, or Bad), & tell everyone else.
You either draw a Reaction Card, or roll the dice again to determine another random 01-00 # (to correspond to the Situation or Reaction you get; if you ever roll one you've already gotten, re-roll)...
The rules are in the file, but that's the gist of it.
Constructive criticism? Feedback? =}
