Title panel: Opus walking, wearing an umbrella hat, holding a single-scoop ice cream cone with yellow ice cream.
Opus: "Oh man, that rascal!"
Setting: Outside somewhere, Steve Dallas standing barechested wearing blue jeans with a hole in one knee, holding a cup of coffee, leaning against a low stone wall. His briefcase sits on the wall, with his shirt laying beside it.
Panel 2:
Opus (smiling): "Hi Steve. Wild badgers rip off your shirt?"
Panel 3:
Steve: "Just catchin' some late summer rays over lunch, dude."
Opus (smugly): "Fibber! You're luring in your next romantic prey. But they're gonna smell the danger and run, pal."
Panel 4:
Steve (putting on shirt): "Blobbo, let's be honest about the appetite of the female animal."
Panel 5:
Steve (looking down at a wide-eyed Opus): "Dodgy bad boys are like steaming plates of hot bubbling chocolate dessert plopped down on her love table."
Panel 6:
Steve (fingers waving in Opus's cringing face): "Her mind screams 'DOOM!'"
Panel 7:
Steve (self-satisfied smile): "But her heart calls 'SPOON!'"
Panel 8:
Steve (arms spread wide, s4-eating grin on his face): "Bon appetit!"
Panel 9:
Steve laying on the wall, shirt open, briefcase for a pillow, looking at the clouds drifting in the pale blue sky. Opus standing beside him, looking at us, umbrella hat held in front of him.
Opus: "I'll betcha the last lady dodo bird went down choking on lava cake."
Note: there's a text balloon pointing at Steve laying on the wall. It says "New ironic gay icon?! and it's signed 'Mgt'
