Oh - I've been so secretive lately by LongFist 2012-10-08 09:44:32
I forgot to mention my shift of jobs - I just leaped from company "A" to company "B" --- and on 1 Oct 2012 it happened for real and all.  I never said anything about it because my previous boss is a bit vindictive and the way my luck trends nowadays, "something" might have happened.  But it didn't, and for the last week I've been successfully getting acclimatized to the new corporate rules/structure/culture.

I spent a lot of time thinking about it, but company "B" forced my hand by offering a benefits package and salarizing me at over 175% increase over company "A"'s hourly rate.  Let's read that again: 100% would be a doubling...

So the Wife and I talked it over, and she agreed that - unlike many other "shifts" I have engaged in the past, this was one she could really get behind - so I did it, and I think I've never been happier.

Just thought I'd say something about it now, since I'm no longer at the beck and call of the IT Clown Division at my previous place of employment...

I now return you to your previous scanning and skimming - nothing important to see here, folks.  (But I still love my UFies, so I'll keep lurking and annoying you people until...)
