BE ADVISED
22:09 PST 27 NOV 1998
The site will undergo a structure change in the first week of December, so if you have some kind of perl script or whatever grabbing things, it'll probably break. Just a heads up.

HALF-LIFE CRUD PUPPY
01:08 PST 27 NOV 1998
Seems like it was in demand, so Ritalin-Boy took the time to convert an archived UF cartoon into a Crud Puppy decal for Half-Life. Once again, you can grab it at the Neat-o Files page.

BE, YOU COULDN'T HAVE COME TOO SOON
22:48 PST 25 NOV 1998
I can not wait for my copy of BeOS. Just tonight I lost 45 minutes of work when Windows 98 decided to barf on me. Oh, I saved the cartoon strip I was working on just about every other minute, but guess what? This wonderful OS I'm chained to because of the apps I use decided to puke while conducting file I/O. Guess who's work file was corrupted?

AOL??!! NOOO!!
22:09 PST 24 NOV 1998
I've been asked a few times why AOL banners can be seen on the site. Simple answer: they're part of a run-of-the-network campaign one of the ad agencies we deal with has going. Quite frankly, I think it's the funniest thing to see an AOL banner above a cartoon nailing AOL. :-)

HALF-LIFE DUST PUPPY
22:08 PST 24 NOV 1998
If you play Half-Life and you want another decal to go with your collection, I did one of the Dust Puppy bearing a full grin. You can grab it at the Neat-o Files page. Works like a charm.

HALF-LIFE REVIEW
23:28 PST 23 NOV 1998
I finally finished Half-Life after a substantial amount of playing. In brief, the game is an excellent example of solid game design. If you want to read more, check out the in-depth review I wrote on it. This one gets 4.5 Dust Puppies out of five. Way to go, Valve.

MIRANDA WOULD GO
23:23 PST 23 NOV 1998
If you're a cyberfemme and you live in or near the Toronto area, you should be aware that the next Wired Woman Society meeting is happening today, as in Tuesday, the 24th. They also have monthly meetings in Vancouver. For more info, hit their site. It's gotta be a cool thing. Thanks to Laurie Landry for the heads-up.
