REGISTER4LESS SECURITY DAEMON: This in from our chums and sponsors over at Register4Less: Wanted to tell you about a new service that we've created for R4L: login notification. This has been designed to address the one thing no service provider can do anything about security-wise, namely if the end user allows his password to be known by a third party. This could happen through selection of an easily guessed password, leaving it written down somewhere...
The service can be configured to send an email or a text message to your cell phone (or both) whenever there is a login to the profile and you can filter the log in to exclude notification from a specific IP address. The interface allows you to terminate any other login session to your account. Idea is if someone's account is comprmised, they'll get notified when someone else logs in, and the customer can kick the intruder off and reset the password before damage can be done.
