• I've been collecting the jargon that seems to have evolved in the community around UF (I take no credit -- this is all from the audience!), and so far I have the following: UFie: a User Friendly fan; UFPV: the User Friendly Productivity Virus; UForia: the pleasant feeling a UFie gets whilst travelling through the archives; nUFie: a new UFie; UFieverse: all of that which makes up the UF universe; UFied: the User Friendly version of Slashdotting a site; and there're more being suggested in this thread here. If you have anything to add, please do so!
  
  
• It looks like that there's been a pile of UFie gatherings going on without my knowledge (what else is new :)), so I'm going to wave some banners and attempt to give them a bit of publicity: there are currently meets planned for UFie Meet in San Francisco, UFie Nawrleans Crawfish Boil, UFie UK "'ave another pint" Meet and UFie Meet in Paris. Everyone who can make it is invited! A couple of them are very close to happening at the time of this posting, and I take the blame for cutting it so close. I'll do better next time.
  
  
• And finally, WE HAVE A BIG FOAM CLUEBAT! I saw the sample and the damn thing is one heck of a bludgeoning instrument. Don't be hitting anyone with it unless you a) want to cause a concussion, and b) don't mind having the living bejeezus beaten out of you. Warning issued. ;)
