It's been over a month since my last real update posting, and Webdiva kindly reminded me of this with a psychic purple herbie. (Ow!) Membership hath its fury...or was that 'privileges?' First off, my thanks to everyone who has become a paid member! Your contribution does help us a great deal, and is deeply appreciated. Also, if you're one of the Charter Members (that is, you signed up for a paid Membership before the middle of January), you can expect your nifty Charter Membership Card to appear in the mail sometime this month. I'm just now waiting for them to arrive so I can sign them all, then back they go to the shipping people. Real Soon Now. :) On another Real Soon Now note,User Friendly v1.0, aka User Friendly Book Four, is no longer available for pre-order and is now shipping! Yay! And my thanks to the folks at Plan Nine for doing the publishing bit. Bellingham, towards thee I shall wander! If you live or work or just hang about the Pacific Northwest, be sure to mark April 20th on your calendar. I'll be heading down to attend and speak at the Bellingham Linuxfest 2002, organized by the Bellingham Linux Users Group. It's a one-day gathering of local Linux fans (and people who're just curious about that 'other operating system'), and since it's in the Northwest it probably means we'll all end up going out for coffee or chai afterwards. Come on by and say hello! And that's the round-up for the week! Thank you for your timely attention.
