WORLD COMMUNITY GRID LAUNCHES HUMAN PROTEOME FOLDING 2! From intrepid Team UserFriendly.Org leader Didactylos: HPF2 launched today on the World Community Grid.
You can learn more about the project here. In summary, it continues HPF1 at a higher resolution, and will be focussing on malaria.
The minimum system requirement are the same as for FightAIDS@Home, so nearly all computers will be eligible. Be aware that you are opted-in to new projects by default, so if you don't want to participate, you must go to My Projects and update your preferences.
Also, an important development for WCG Windows client users: WCG have added a throttle feature, initially set at 60%. This is designed to stop people freaking out that their system is stuck at 100%. To get back to crunching at full power, follow these instructions.
Please consider joining WCG & Team UserFriendly.Org if you haven't already done so. It's worth points in heaven!
