World Community Grid have launched a new project. Help Fight Childhood Cancer aims to develop novel drugs to treat neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma is one of the most frequently occurring solid tumors in children, especially in the first two years of life, when it accounts for 50% of all tumors. Neuroblastoma comprises 6-10% of all childhood cancers, and 15% of cancer deaths in children.
This project is from the Chiba Cancer Center in Japan. World Community Grid is joining together researchers from around the world with volunteers (us!) with computers, ready and willing to help. You can choose to focus on this project, or you can contribute to other projects hosted by World Community Grid. All the projects share a humanitarian goal and aim to make a real difference.
Team UserFriendly.Org has been helping out many causes for over three years. Please join us in making a difference to the world, shaping it and bringing hope for future generations.
